This application relates to two proposed grid connection routes for a Wind Energy Facility (WEF) in the Blue Crane and Makana Municipalities in the Eastern Cape, approximately 30km south east of Cookhouse. The archaeological foot survey, although not covering the entire extent of the proposed route alignments, was able to characterise the expected heritage resources within the area. Six Middle Stone Age artefacts were recorded, and graded as IIIc.
