CTS Heritage created an archaeological interpretive sign for the archaeological site called Bakoond in Yzerfontein. Preliminary excavations were completed by Dr J. Orton as mitigation for housing and mixed use development. The site excavated is an open air Hunter-Gatherer site that dates from approximately 5000 BP. The developer requested signage to inform visitors and residents of the new development and of the archaeological significance of the area.
